Dr. Bola Kalejaiye

Chief Executive Officer 

Dr. Bola Kalejaiye
Dr. Bola Kalejaiye holds a First-Class BSc degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lagos and earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, UK. He also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Energy Management from the University of Toronto, Canada.

With over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Dr. Kalejaiye spent 18 years with ExxonMobil, where he led the execution of numerous multi-million dollar offshore and onshore projects encompassing oil, gas, power development, and marine infrastructure. He began his career in reservoir engineering, managing teams focused on optimising production from major fields in the Gulf of Guinea through activities including five drill wells, reservoir depletion, and reservoir surveillance planning and implementation. In Project Management, Design Engineering, and Development Planning roles, Dr. Kalejaiye led a variety of projects, including gas lift installations, slot additions, pipeline replacements, pigging facility upgrades, flare upgrades, material offloading facility installations, domestic gas supply projects, power distribution upgrades, flare elimination initiatives, farm-out tie-ins, and deepwater development. His final role at ExxonMobil Nigeria was as the Production Projects Manager, overseeing work programs totalling approximately $250 million annually for the Production Organisation, including platform repairs and restorations.

He is affiliated with several professional organisations, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Project Management Institute (Southern Alberta Chapter), and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Additionally, he is a member of the Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Network Nigeria and a fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust.

Babatunde Adelola

Babatunde Adelola
Babatunde Adelola is a Strategic and Project Leader effective at working with, through, and influencing people. Proven leadership skills are respected by peers and others, including external parties. More than 20 years of progressive experience in Engineering and Project Management skill areas, 16 of which were gathered delivering multimillion-dollar onshore and offshore oil & gas projects for ExxonMobil, and repeated success in developing project initiatives, directing and executing project plans, and achieving capital efficiency targets. A visionary leader with in-depth knowledge and expert-level proficiency in strategic planning, project execution planning, contracting, design engineering management, cost estimation & project controls, risk assessment & management, and operations integrity & reliability.

Babatunde has M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Lagos and has attended several leadership and management development programs locally and internationally, notably among which are Project Management Leadership at the University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School, USA; General Leadership at Thunderbird School of Global Management, Belgium; and Enterprise Leadership at the University of North Carolina, Kenan-Flagler Business School, USA. He was recognized for achieving and applying Advanced Professional Skills in Project Management in 2016 by ExxonMobil Upstream Professional Development Committee.

He started his career with Dunlop Nigeria Plc., a tire manufacturing company, in 1995 and rose to the position of Engineering Manager, Projects, before joining ExxonMobil Nigeria in 2004, contributing to the growth of the Nigerian affiliate in various capacities, including supervisory, advisory, managerial, and leadership positions. He is a Corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), chartered civil engineer with the Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) Southern Alberta chapter.

Babatunde is an avid sportsman who has represented Lagos State in national volleyball competitions and currently sits on the board of trustees of Legacy Volleyball Club, serving as the Chairman since 2018.

Adesoji Adekogbe

Executive Director, Technical

Adesoji Adekogbe
Adesoji Adekogbe is an astute engineer and project manager with over 24 years of broad-based experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, spanning conceptual engineering and feasibility studies of various brown and green field projects, provision of facilities engineering surveillance support to onshore and offshore production assets, optimisation and de-bottlenecking studies, risk assessment and management, and execution planning and management of brown and green field projects. He graduated from the University of Lagos in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in the second-class upper division.

Adesoji worked for Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN), a subsidiary of ExxonMobil, from July 1997 to August 2020, held several technical, supervisory, and managerial positions, and attained the Advanced Skilled Milestone (ASM) in Global Project Management. He attended several international leadership programs, prominent among which are programs organised by the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School. Some of the leading programs include Project Management Leadership (USA), Enterprise Leadership (France), and General Leadership (Belgium). He has also been an active participant in numerous local and international technical courses and conferences.

He successfully executed several projects working with indigenous contractors and, in the process, helped to enhance local capability and capacity in engineering, fabrication, offshore construction, and vessel management. His project execution niche is in the proactive utilisation of execution synergies to achieve capital efficiency. He has also had cause to work internationally during the course of his career with MPN executing projects; notable among his project work assignments are: engineering to address thermal induced stresses and strains in flare structure to improve continuous reliability of flare system in the smokeless and clean flaring of waste gas (New Orleans, Louisiana); and engineering to evaluate the feasibility of possible shorter piping interconnection between 2 main loading lines (Houston, Texas).

Adesoji is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), Registered Engineer in Nigeria (COREN), Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (FNSChE), Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Senior Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), and a Member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) of the South Western Ontario Chapter.
